More Time To Workout
With your child busy with before and after school activities, and while they're at school for a majority of the day, you finally have more time to workout! This can be going to the gym, or squeezing in a workout around your kid's schedule. Either way you'll be uninterrupted and have quality workout time alone that you may not have had before. You can also move more during your kid's daily commute. Whether this is walking to school with them, taking a stroll to the end of the driveway or bus stop, or parking far in the school parking lot, all these count towards your steps and daily exercise!
Get To Bed Early
Now that your child has to wake up early for school, it’s time to enforce a bedtime in your entire household. You'll have a good excuse to get to bed early yourself, as there will now be peace and quiet earlier in the night. You'll all receive adequate sleep, and you can begin your days earlier with them to get more activities and errands done. It's a double-win!
Prep Meals In Advance
You can stay healthy while being busy with now prepping lunch for two. Rather than handing your child some lunch money, prepare a healthy lunch that you both can eat and they can take with them to school. You're making something for them anyways - so might as well kill two birds with one stone, right? You'll thank yourself later, as your kid will appreciate those homemade meals from you always!
