Muscles and joints can create problems for mobility and pain. There are various alternatives to muscle relaxers and aspirin. Epsom salt and apple cider vinegar are natural methods that can help with joint and muscle pain. Soaking in warm water with a few cups of Epsom salt can alleviate muscle pain. This is because Epsom salt is filled with magnesium sulfate, which is considered a natural muscle relaxer. By drawing excess fluids out of the muscles and joints, it reduces swelling. This can happen within 15 minutes! The same can be said for apple cider vinegar. By rubbing directly on the affected area, it can relieve pain instantly. It can also be made into a drink by diluting it with water and honey. It has an extremely sour taste though, so be warned! By drinking it, you can have an overall increase in health and detox throughout the body.

There's nothing better than the old hot and cold packs to help with aching bodies. Heat helps to increase blood flow to the painful area. This also helps to allow the muscles and joints to relax and decrease pain. For muscles that are sore and tight, you should try a warm shower or bath. If you are doing exercise, heat therapy should be used immediately after. Moist heat is often more effective than dry heat. On the other hand, cold therapy numbs and reduces inflammation in the joints. The numbing abilities allow the nerves that sense pain to become calm. For best results, both options should be alternated back and forth. This method is super simple, fast, and effective!
