Why do I feel tired all the time? This is a common question many people ask themselves. As the summer comes to a close, this question may be popping up more than normal. Keep reading to see the ways you can fight fatigue if you are feeling tired all the time.
Why Do I Feel Tired All The Time?
Fatigue is bound to hit us all at some point. Being tired is no fun, and can derail your daily plans. Whether you lead a busy lifestyle or not, fatigue is inevitable. Many attribute common fatigue to be a result of an unhealthy lifestyle. Though an unhealthy lifestyle is a factor of chronic fatigue, it is not the sole explanation for why we as humans feel fatigued. Here are 7 ways you can fight off fatigue and conquer your day to day life!
1. Increase Your Daily Physical Activity
Not only is physical exercise great for your mind and body, but it's great for ensuring a good night's sleep. There is nothing better than falling asleep with sore muscles!
2. Watch What You Eat
Just like physical exercise, eating right is always a great thing to do. Watching what you eat can ensure that you are regulating your body properly. For example, you do not want to eat something sugary and then crash throughout the day.
3. Watch Your Caffeine Intake
We all love our cup of Joe in the morning, but be mindful of your intake. Caffeine is a great short term fix but can lead to withdrawal that leads to fatigue.
4. Stay Hydrated
Staying hydrated allows for your body to be replenished. When you do not have enough water intake, your body becomes dehydrated. Dehydration is one of the leading reasons for why people commonly feel fatigued. A great way to make sure you are getting enough water is by setting a reminder on your phone or buying a large water bottle.
5. Eat More Magnesium
Fatigue can be caused by low levels of magnesium. To ensure that you are giving your body a fighting change, be sure to include magnesium-rich foods into your diet.
6. Try Vitamin B
Just like magnesium, a lack of vitamin B can cause fatigue. A great and easy way to ensure that you are getting your vitamin B in is by taking a multivitamin daily.
7. Catch Up On Sleep
This seems simple enough, right? Sometimes what you really need in order to fight fatigue is to catch up on that shut eye. A great way to combat fatigue is to regulate your sleep patterns, and ensure that you are giving your body enough sleep in order to function. A lack of sleep can not only make you feel sluggish and fatigued during the day, but can have serious negative effects on your health.
